ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Annual Revenue: Minimum of $1 - 2 million+ in annual revenue.

(Viable businesses with <$1 million will be given consideration)

Business Type: Ascend is open to for-profit or non-profit entities

Business Location: Must be headquartered, operating and or servicing customers in Los Angeles County.

Business Maturity: At least two years in operation.

Industry Focus:

Industries aligned with government contracting opportunities (e.g., construction, IT, professional services).

Open to other industries meeting revenue and readiness criteria.

Community Focus: Priority for businesses serving communities located in low- and moderate-income areas and LA wildfire impacted areas in LA County as well as venue cities (LA, Long Beach, Inglewood, Carson, Santa Monica, Pasadena).

Contract Readiness:

Capacity to compete for and fulfill government contracts.

Certifications to receive contracts from the federal government preferred but not required.

Financial Documentation: Up-to-date financial records, including P&L statements and tax filings.

Commitment:

Willingness to fully engage in the program for a 6-month period.

Dedication to leveraging resources to expand operations, increase revenue, and create jobs.
